Krste Juras (born in 1945, Šibenik, Croatia )is for all other things (shipbuilder, PhD owner, internationally recognized for his contributions in shipbuilding, especially navy vessels) a famous Croatian songwriter and poet. Since born in Dalmatia and being strongly into his primary occupation as engineer, his favourit topics by which he is best know to his Croatian readers are and will remain Dalmatian, the coastline, the sea and the ever-present emotion called love. He published three independent poem-anthologies, the last one in 1996 under the title "Dalmacija u mom oku" (Dalmatia in My Eye). "... Znam da nije bila samo moja, (I know She didn't belong only to Me) možda sam u snu duboku, (Maybe I am in a deep Sleep) ali živi stotinama boja, (But She does live a 100 Colors) Dalmacija u mom oku." (Dalmatia in My Eye) ... KAO STARO VINO Kao staro vino, bit ću bolji, prema tebi, prema sebi, prema svima. Kao staro vino sazrio sam, da ti kažem što mi znači što te imam. Govorim ti laka srca, spustio sam jedra, pročitao sve sam riječi s tvoga čela vedra. Govorim ti sada ono propušteno davno, sada mi se sve to čini tako jednostavno. Kao staro vino bit ću bolji, spreman čuti, spreman dati bez da molim. Kao staro vino sazrio sam da ti kažem što mi znači što te volim.
