Single FR 2008 on Divine Comedy Records label
Rock (Lo-Fi, Industrial, Avant-garde, Experimental)
Limited Edition of 300 copies. First 100 copies are specially numbered (with golden pen) and exclusively for Divine Comedy's record's mail order. In fact, some copies were given to band's members or closed friends, and excusively sold in Kaleidoscope's record shop in Marseille, and the rest is kept by Fabrice, label's/shop owner that stop diffusion of band's material after the sudden "break-up" of the band. This limited single open with two unreleased tracks by Michael Yonkers & The Blindshakes... very raw "garage-punk" ! Two short tracks by this living legend that Kulfi's contacted because the whole band was into the incredible "Microminiature Love", complete sessions, as everybody in the world should be ! The Kulfi's side is a brand new track energic and dreamy as the same time. Can we say a sort of Sonic Youth/Ca/High Tide mix, due to the presence of weird use of violin and saturated guitars ? Drums seem "reversed" ... As the band usually says, "people listening to our music give us different influences each times" and that's the best compliment ever. The cover is also a real piece of art done by Sophya ; so don't miss this smart item with a very symbolic number : DC 050 !
