Electronic and Rock
From a press release: You will find a person like Kumari only once in a decade. She is colourful and captivating. Complimentary to her musical talents she is also a skilled designer who has no problem with self expression visually or musically. After her Art Degree from Amershams Art College she returned to Aylesbury, England, where since 1978 she was singing for modest crowds. By 1982 she was involved in studio work with her multi-talented brother Seri, completing visually the impressive sound that make Kumari. A short time later she immigrated to Canada, bringing with her the undying desire to succeed in the music business. Presently, she and Seri have assembled a group of enthusiastic musicians and collaborators. Their music is by no means prefabricated. The material is original and undoubtedly danceable. Descriptively it is a blend of British and American R&B sounds performed at a Techno pop level.
