Kummitus was a Finnish rock band in the mid 1970s. It was planned to be a horror rock band that would fright their audience with ghost stories, masked musicians and skeleton dresses. It was also meant that nobody would know who plays in the group. However, their records didn't succeed in these means and they split up after their first album. The musicians in Kummitus were former members of Matthews (2) and Alwari Tuohitorvi.
