KuNa, the project is a simple meeting between samplers and traditional roots/Dub instruments, the Dub masters Paolo Petrella and Guido Marziale born in Naples during the magnificent 90s, allowed them to approach Dub music through a 16-channel mixer, 2 echo machines, a lot of rusted cables.The Dub sessions, recorded during autumn of 2014, form KuNa’s first production, with the release on Aquietbump label, a known reference for digital Dub in Italy, whose distinctive features are ambient / soundscape atmospheres, roots sounds and beatmaking.
