Band,
Hip-Hop/Rap
The birthplace of Hip Hop is buzzing with anticipation. Lyricists Malachi, Shakes, D-Lux, Mello, Murder Cap and Steady Mob, better known as Kurrup Money, are proving that the Bronx is still a Hip Hop force to be reckoned with. It’s sometimes hard for each member of a group to shine equally, but Kurrup Money manages to do it easily. They feed off each other with assists in the form of lyrical alleyoops comparable to Pippen and Jordan. It’s this chemistry that led to their formation in 1999 through Multi-Platinum Producer, Buckwild. Since that time Kurrup Money has been busy solidifying their place in an overcrowded industry. It’s easy to get lost in the crowd when there’s a Rapper on almost every corner, but Kurrup Money continues to separate themselves and remain at the forefront. Each KM representative brings a different element to the table. Collectively, Kurrup Money brings you vivid storytelling; retrospective tales from the street; root for the underdog; ferocious hit ‘em hard type themes. Their versatile style definitely makes it easy for everyone to get something out of their music.
