Recorded at SHIKIORI Japan, September 10th-11th 2012 I recorded this in Miyawaka, a small farming town in a mountainous region just outside of Fukuoka city, Japan. The session started in the dead of night and if you listen closely you'll hear the sound of insects and other night life. We chose not to edit out and omit those sounds from the recording, as it is as naturally musical a sound as any non musical thing could be, or so called "non-musical"...I prefer to think of it as Natures symphony, the night song composed in the peacefulness of darkness. I sincerely wish this album to offer a little bit of stillness and repose for a world in turmoil. Thank you to my family and my close circle. A special thank you to Seigo Matsunaga and Theo Lawrence.
