b.: 1925 (Jadotville, Likasi, Congo) Congolese singer, guitarist and composer. His musical career begins in the end of the 1940's, when Henri Bowane presents him to Ngoma, where he quickly becomes a star. Bukasa is among the rare Congolese musician that used to sing in Swahili, Tshiluba and Lingala.
