L.A. Posse is Darryl "Big Dad" Pierce and Dwayne "Muffla" Simon. Associated with Def Jam Recordings. L.A. Posse are close friends with N.W.A., Russell Simmons, L.L. Cool J, and Rick Rubin. Bobby "Bobcat" Ervin and DJ Pooh are also contributors to the L.A. Posse production team. Producers for Breeze (2), L.L. Cool J, Nikki D, and many others. L.A. Posse are from Uncle Jam's Army, and they were given their name by Jam Master Jay. L.A. Posse, not to be confused with Mikey D. & The L.A. Posse, or the L.A. Posse Record label, started by Mixmaster Spade.
