LABOUM is a girl band from South-Korea, created in 2014, which has known several line-up changes. The band's musical style has slowy evolved into a 80's new-wave/funk vintage style. Their name comes from a french comedy of 1980, "La Boum" (The Party), in which the famous actress Sophie Marceau, aged 13, had her first role. Due to rights problems with other bands or artists with similar name, the band was finally called LABOUM (in a single word).
