Lauren was born and raised in Philadelphia in August of 1985. With the look of a princess and the edge of a sword LSD is the next artist to explode in 2009! LSD has been writing and recording her own music since the age of 11. Starting off just a little girl playing around on a karaoke machine. She soon started writting and letting only her close friends be the judge of her music, it took only one friend to notice her musical flare and from that moment she began taking rapping serious. Soon after that she ran into Mr. rick dange who later started to manage her she now felt determined to make it. Now being a young women she started to express her life experiences into her material, creating music that could literally relate to anyone. LSD is also very versatile. That's one of the qualities that sets her apart from other female rappers. Starting off doing small things just for exposure. LSD started hooking up with underground rap artist in her city recording, and making collaborations with other artist. She then started to get on DVD's given them her all Which caused more and more people to take notice. Performing at nite clubs, lounges, and showcases making her buzz now even bigger! She also released a mixtape called "America's Next Top" killing the streets of philadelphia and gaining her street credibility as well as offers from major record labels. "America's Next Top" literally sold out within weeks leaving the streets hungry for more, and with that being said LSD was now considered the hottest female rapper in Philadelphia. Who is this pretty female rapper that spits that fire? That was the one question flooding the streets of Philadelphia.
