Jaime Ortega - Drums Philip Watson - Bass & backing vocals Efrain Arditti - Trompet Gabriel Valencia - Keyboards Victor Barrera – Violin Formed in 1998; this band played a mixture of traditional Mexican music, Mariachi, Blues & Mexican folklore. Their influences include Cafe Tacuba, Celtas Cortos, The Pogues & Nick Cave. La Catrina was signed to Warner Music México where they recorded their only album titled La Catrina. They disbanded in 2002.
