Traditional Cuban music group created in 1988 in Europa by Bernard Lion. In Europe they recorded one, maybe two albums, as Charanga Habanera. They moved to Cuba in 1992, became a Timba band and recorded four albums as David Calzado & La Charanga Habanera. Disbanded in 1997, splitting to 3 different bands: La Charanga Forever, Danny Lozada Y Su Timba Cubana, and David Calzado & La Charanga Habanera.
