The Rhaeto-Romanic choir from Switzerland is also known by its italian name 'La Compagnia Rossini'. It was founded by Armin Caduff and is run by him and his wife Lisabet Caduff. The choir is situated in the Surselva-region, where the (Rhaeto)-Romanic language is still spoken. The choir itself integrates Rhaeto-Romanic pieces and artists in its repertoire. Today, the ensemble is better known by the name 'La Compagnia Rossini', while it was mainly called 'La Cumpignia Rossini' before the year 2000. The choir was founded in 1980 and consist of a pianist, conductor, around 10 solo vocalists and a mixed choir.
