Louis Cyphre was formerly known as DJ act and decided in 2001 to create music himself and founded "La Magra" as a solo project around the vampire and horror themes. Therefore, it is no surprise that he found the band name in a vampire movie "Blade". La Magra is the blood- and vampire- God in that movie.
