La Renga is a rock band formed on December 31, 1988, in the neighborhood of Mataderos, south of the city of Buenos Aires. Have refused to media exposure for more than twenty years of experience and now have a completely independent production, after spending a few years in the label Polygram Discos S.A. and Universal Music Argentina S.A.. Members: 1989 to present: Gustavo Nápoli: Lead vocal, Lead guitar Gabriel "Tete" Iglesias: Bass Jorge "Tanque" Iglesias: Drums 1994 to present: Manuel Varela: Harmonica, saxophone, backing vocales, guitar 1989 to 1991: Raúl "Locura" Dilelio: Guitar 1989 to 2008: Gabriel Sánchez: Saxophone, harmonica
