Tejano / onda chicana orquesta formed in Chicago, Illinois as "La Sombra De Chicago" in the early 1980s. Later changed name to "La Sombra De Tony Guerrero" in the late 1980s, and by the the 1990s it was simply "La Sombra" with members from both Chicago & Texas.
