Ladji Camara, Master Drummer The selections on this record were recorded for a WBAI Free Music Store which i produced in November 1975. It was recorded in the old Studio when WBAI was located on East 62nd Street. All of the musicians on this record are black Americans with the exception of Ladji Camara. Instruments: Beleke -drum stick. Dyembe -one headed drum with antelope skin, worn around the waist, hand beaten. Sanba -two headed drum with antelope skin, suspended on a shoulder strap, stick beaten. Sidiba -african congos. Foule -bamboo flute with six holes. Ken Ken -cowbell, stick beaten.
