With his project LAMBDA the German virtuosic double-bass player Carsten Hundt presents his first solo album. As LAMBDA, Carsten creates a range of sounds out of his acoustic double-bass (contrabass), that are quite unusual for this instrument. Selected electronic effects produce wonderful. strange, mystic and sometimes bizarre soundscapes. Carsten Hundt is a versatile musician, professionally focusing on Baroque and Renaissance music. He has played in various classical orchestras, but also performs modern styles (f.e. as the 'Bassmeister' in the Gothic-Metal-band Adversus). Since 2003 Carsten developed his own musical ideas in his solo project LAMBDA.
