Joyello: Laptop, Arturia Minilab, Theremin, Stilophone Lameba: Laptop, Absynth 5, collages, objets trouvés Micropolyphony: compositional technique developed in the second half of the 1900s, in which the performers play parts without the aim of making listeners perceiving individual sections (as happens in normal polyphony) but creating peculiar spatial, timbric and bizarre effects. The "father" of micropolyphony is György Ligeti who called it: «harmonic-musical flow in which harmonies do not change suddenly but merge into one another; a distinguishable combination of intervals gradually fades (...) and from this nebulosity takes shape a new combination of intervals". Harmózō (ἁρμόζω) is the greek word from which etymologically "harmony” derives. It means "to connect", "to adjust", "to fix" and it is precisely on this basis that these micropolyphonic exercises took place. Based on each other's work, Joyello and Lameba carried out a process of personalization, stratifying and processing sounds coming from the outside world, letting connections from past and present with no boundaries. At the end of the operation, the result is an oxymoron: a casual harmony that brings with it all the contradictions of the acousmatic musical language.
