A.k.a. Lancelot E. (Lance) Lumsden
Jamaican tennis player and musician. Born in Buff Bay, Portland, on October 30, 1939 and died of cancer June 18, 2011 at Andrews Memorial Hospital, St Andrew, Jamaica. Lumsden began his tennis career in high school at Kingston College in the late 1950s. He is regarded as one of the best players of Jamaica till nowadays. After his sport career, he settled in Vienna, Austria and started his second career as musican and record producer. He owned Mojam Records and released a couple of reggae records by himself. He was also married to Chris Lohner. He also raised a family with three sons in Vienna. In Austria he was also working as tennis and music journalist before he moved back to Jamaica.
