Jamaican-born British actor and singer. Enjoyed an extensive career on stage and screen. Star of the famous 1989 Maxell Tapes 'Me Ears Are Alight' TV commercial. Born in 1947 in Kingston, Jamaica. He moved to U.K. in 1956. Died in September 2017 in Guadeloupe while filming for the BBC.
