American composer and programmer born in 1954. He lives in Hanover, New Hampshire, is co-director and co-founder of Frog Peak Music, and teaches at Dartmouth College. Formerly at the Center for Contemporary Music, Mills College, where he specialized in the design and implementation of computer-based compositional language.
