A.k.a. Propeller Island
Born 1961 in Berlin. He studied Visual Communications in Berlin Academy of Arts 1981-1987 and worked as a photographer and graphic designer in the meantime. He has a long history of musical training starting from childhood and he was working with electronic music from early 1980's. 1986 he named his studio Propeller Island and begun to use it as his artist pseudonym. 1994 Lars set up Off Scale label to distribute his own albums. In 1997 he opened a four room Propeller Island City Lodge hotel to finance his musical aspirations. By 2005 Propeller Island City Lodge hotel has expanded to cover over 30 individually decorated thematic rooms. Lars has also produced cd's of sound effects and samples.
