Latex Generation is a New York, USA punk rock band that formed in the early 1990s. The band's name was inspired by a news report that spoke of the current generation of teens regarding the threat of STDs and the AIDS epidemic came on the radio. The name has also been said to be a play on words as the "Late X Generation" because the members all fall age-wise at the tail end of Generation X. The band are also referred to as "L8XG" or just "LG".
