Replicas of the two album front ocvers show the main artist as "Juan Amalbert's Latin Jazz Quintet". The CD spine only shows "The Latin Jazz Quintet". The disc shows no artist. Recorded 1962 (The Chant) and 1960/61 (Hot Sauce) and released as Tru-Sound TRU 15012 and TRU 15003. Victor Allende plays bongos on this record and not the flute as listed. Bobby Capers plays the flute. He is listed only for alto and tenor saxophone; he doubled on sax and flute during his tenure with Mongo Santamaria's band.
