Swimming Against The Stream

Album SE 1989 on RCA label
Electronic (Synth-pop)

Recorded at Balfour Studios and The Workhouse, London and at Chameleon Studio and Blue Canyon Studio, Los Angeles. Mastered at Future Disc, Los Angeles. This album is dedicated to the eleven workers at Dunne's stores, Dublin, who were sacked for refusing to handle South Africa goods. Their three year fight against dismissal culminated in the Irish Government's ban on the importation of South Africa Agricultural produce. We might be Swimming Against The Stream but, with this kind of courage, we can reach the other shore. "Dominion" originally recorded for the T.V. documentary series "Animal Traffic", directed by Arpad Bondy & Ron Orders. ℗ 1988 BMG Records (UK) Ltd. © 1989 BMG Records (UK) Ltd. Made in Germany There is one version with a sticker "Deutsche Textbeilage" advertising the German leg of the tour in 1989. This version hold an extra sheet with German translations of the lyrics.
