LATZ consisted of a musician and a non-musicion who created pieces of music as follows: Take wonderful distorted walls of digital hardcore mix it with old-fashioned industrial soundtracks and cyberpunk techno, finally whip it with old school new wave experiments and add some dark brooding samples to it and you will end up with LATZ. Achim Mennicken (†) a.k.a. H. J. Mennicken a.k.a. Hans Joachim Mennicken is also known for his appearance with Seen Links Schlösser Rechts, La Loora, Boom Operators. Michael Bulgrin is a graphic designer and artist also known as the owner of Angry Fish Music. Latz have worked with Lene Lovich and Les Chappell. Unfortunately on January 13th 2014 Achim Mennicken died suffering from a year-long pulmonary disease.
