Formed in 1995 in Austin, Texas featuring several members of The Krayons, a Corpus Christi-based hardcore punk band. The lineup also included Rick Gonzalez of Festus, a well-regarded Corpus Christi doom metal quartet, and Satoshi Matsumae, former bassist for Downpour. The final lineup (2004-2008) was vocalist Gerald Alvarez, drummer Roger Guerrero, guitarist/vocalist Richard Guerrero, guitarist Mario Pena and bassist Damon Stuckey. The band released two albums, one single and were featured on several compilations. Laughing Stock played across Texas and played dates in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee and Arkansas.
