Composer, a native of New York City, graduated from the Manhattan School of Music, the City College of New York, and Columbia University. She studied composition with Mario Davidovsky, Vladimir Ussachevsky, Chou Wen-Chung, and Jack Beeson. Her music has been performed at Carnegie Recital Hall, Merkin Hall, churches and universities in New York and New England, and on various radio stations. She has received a number of grants as well as been in residence at the Composers Conference in Vermont. Her music appears on the Opus One and Vienna Modern Masters labels.
