Laurena studied at Gand's Conservatory. A Sony executive called her the Belgian "Céline Dion". She sang the theme song of American movie "The Deptors" with Michael Caine. She was also the singer on "Moving train" by Nunca feat. Pat Krimson. She recorded for Belgian artists Belle Perez, Milk Inc, Lords of Acid, Garry Hagger, Jo Vally, Willy Sommers, Sam Gooris, and many more. She sang live shows with Axelle Red, Paul Michiels, Voice Male and Belle Perez, ... Laurena is part of the band “Belle Perez”, with which she sang live in arenas in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany. Laurena recorded her album, titled "Golden songs", with 2 original songs by Peter Keereman, who also produced the album. With the singer Marc Meersman, she recorded the album "Moving Melodies", also produced by Peter Keereman.
