"In a collaboration between Christian Marclay and the London Sinfonietta, some of the world’s most renowned contemporary musicians have been invited to stage performances, including new compositions and live improvisation sessions. All of the performances are free and open to the public, spaces will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. The exhibition also features The Vinyl Factory Press, a unique hydraulic vinyl pressing machine created by The Vinyl Factory, and screen printing equipment operated by the London printmakers Coriander Studio. Audiences are able to witness on site the unique process of producing vinyl records, from the initial recording of the concerts to cutting and pressing the records and printing the sleeves. The records that will be pressed each week by the Vinyl Factory will be sold on a first come first served basis." (from gallery web site).
