Lawrence King (born April 7, 1981) is a spanish artist, DJ and producer. He began his career in 1995, founding a little radio station at his school. Subsequently, he collaborates with various radio stations while exploring other novel roles of the DJ, such as sound in the theater stage or research related to the art of mixing. Then he started playing in clubs, and in 1999 became part of the Deejay magazine's staff, leaving in 2002 to join DanceWorld magazine. He has published numerous articles on technical aspects related to mixes, megamixes and music technologies, among others. Influenced primarily by soul, gospel, funky & disco sounds, soon transited to house music fascinated by Chicago pioneers' recordings he collected, being currently an eclectic artist easily identifiable by his quality mixing style.
