Leah Barclay

Leah Barclay is an award winning composer, sound artist and curator working at the intersection of art, science, technology and the environment. Her work has been commissioned, performed and exhibited to wide acclaim across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, Europe, India, China and Korea. She is currently based in Australia working on several projects including Bodhasara, a contemporary realisation of an eighteenth century Sanskrit text commissioned by Chronology Arts and Encontro das Águas, a performance installation for mixed choir and live electronics commissioned by The Australian Voices. She is also in the final stages of production for the interactive installation Vedic Remnants and composing the original score for The DAM(N) Project, a interdisciplinary performance exploring global water security through the lives of displaced communities in the Narmada Valley of North India.
