Single US 2015 on Down Peninsula Audio label
Rock (Indie Rock)
Digital EP released on March 5th of 2015 featuring two previously released songs from Leaving Rouge. "Thank You Birds" comes from the original demo, "Demonstrations", released in 2001 through Nathan Miller's record label, Cascade Records. "You Could Be the Knife" comes from the debut self-titled "Leaving Rouge" album, released in April of 2003 through Sean Madigan Hoen's record label, Down Peninsula Audio. The two songs were re-mastered in 2015 by Kim Rosen at Knack Mastering, but are pretty much identical to their original form. The Leaving Rouge/Down Peninsula Audio Bandcamp pages erroneously list this EP as a vinyl release (listed as "Thank You Birds 7" EP"), but this was strictly a digital release. It is unknown if the mention of a vinyl was merely a promotional tactic, or if there was a plan to release it on 7" but that it fell through due to certain band members' objection.
