The Lebanon Valley Gospel Band had it's beginnings on the memorable day of January 2, 1937, when a group of men and women were called together by Rev. Forrest Allison, at the Nazarene Mission in Ono, PA. The group was assembled to organize a band, of which Rev. Forrest Allison was the founder and first musical director. A constitution and by-laws were instituted by April 9th of the same year, and this new band was named "Lebanon Valley Gospel Band"
