Lee Rosenberg

US

Presented as one of the writers of Elvis Presley's song "Too Much", together with Bernard Weinman. But, according to lawsuits she stole the number from Jean Norris Beasley who wrote the song together with her husband Bill Beasley. They organised the first recording for Bernard Hardison. The song was unnoticed. The publishing rights were signed over to the company of Weinman of which she was the secretary. The sales man Weinman heard that Elvis wants to cut new records and was looking for new songs. He removed the original writer credits from Beasley and Norris and replaced them with his own name and hers. The song became a big hit, but she never wrote the song.
