Soon after performing about fifty shows with Pigface, James Teitelbaum recruited A. Sam Pleur to create the ensemble studio project Left Orbit Temple. A prototypical lineup created The Ice-Nine EP in 1997. In 2000, the full-length CD Prolusion was released.
