Legs (4) can be seen as a prelude to a bizarre rock scandal. In 1973 Legs shared manager Clifford Davis with Fleetwood Mac. The band included Elmer Gantry,Gregory Kirby and Steve Emery (2). When the original Fleetwood Mac rejected Clifford Davis' plans to go on a long US tour in 1974, Davis formed a fake/bogus Fleetwood Mac with none of the real members but Legs-members Gantry (vocals, guitar), Gregory Kirby plus Paul Martinez (bass), John Wilkinson (keyboards) and Craig Collinge (drums). According to Gantry Mick Fleetwood was in on the plan and was expected to join the bogus Fleetwood Mac later on the tour. The bogus Fleetwood Mac was detected by the fans and the tour ended in scandal and lawsuit from the real Fleetwood Mac. Mick Fleetwood never joined the tour and refused ever to have been part of the planning of the bogus band. The tour had ended Legs as a band and back in the UK Gantry and Kirby formed the band Stretch. Gantry directly adressed Mick Fleetwood in the Stretch song "Why did you do it?" released the following year. Unlike Legs and the US tour - the song became a major hit.
