Single DE 2018 on Bear Family Productions Ltd. label
Rock (Rock’n’Roll)
Numbered edition, limited to 500 copies! A-side: originally released in 1956 as an Academy 78 RPM flexi-disc (unnumbered), distributed with every Orange Crush sixpack. Orange Crush was the soda bottling subsidiary of Pepsi Cola. Bear Family announcement end of November 2018: An error occurred while transferring the tapes and instead of the Flexi-Disc 'Academy' recording from 1956 the 'Lucky Four Version' from 1961 landed on the press. Bear Family has now included the correct version as a one-sided single in the original look (small center hole). The additional one-sided single is now delivered together with the regular Bear Family single. Buyers who have already bought the record can get the additional single for free. It's delivered in a generic white paper sleeve. B-side: originally released in 1957 as Academy 2571.
