A.k.a. Lento
Lento is an instrumental musical venture, started up in Rome, Italy, in the fall of 2004, with the main purpose of giving shape to an introspective approach with relentless efforts. It took the band 3 years to develop on an artistic level, and to give birth to "Earthen", released in 2007 through italian label Supernaturalcat, with Relapse supplying US distribution. This led the band to a few years of great efforts put into mastering their craft, so that they could face the responsibility of a 2nd album. This next record turned out to be "Icon", released in 2011 on Denovali records. Feeling the need to get back on stage, Lento then returned on the road for a European tour in support of the album. "Live recording 8.10.11" is meant to be a snapshot of that overwhelming year. 2012 saw the release of their third full-length album, "Anxiety Despair Languish", another mosaic of dark, moody compositions.
