Leon René (b.February 6, 1902, Covington, Louisiana, USA – d.May 30, 1982, Los Angeles, California, USA) was an American music composer of R&B and rock and roll songs in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. He also established several record labels, most notably Exclusive, Excelsior and Class. Brother of Otis Rene and father of Googie Rene.
