American blues pianist and guitarist, also author (born June 2, 1917 in Sumrall, Mississippi - † August 22, 1987 in Minneapolis, Minnesota). His famous nickname was "Baby Doo", People who have worked with him say that he was a very big man and always played and sang his parts perfectly. There were never any mistakes. No second chances. Father of the soul songwriter, singer, pianist, and producer Leonard Caston known for his work on Chess and Motown recordings.
