A.k.a. Lpr Cllctv
A noise project which began as a collaboratibe effort between USA's Maim Patterson and Canada's Frank Zen (Minimal Frank, Flesh For Frank, G&F, ReCyClor, Psyonic Flesh, etc). Long distance exchanges of sounds was the primary method of choice due to lack of in-person contacts. The debut album "Of Toasters And Burnt Toasts" was generally a few noise tracks submitted by Maim, equalized by Frank, and other pieces principally designed by Frank. The second offering "Channel Zero" was principally a Frank Zen effort using some noises and sounds submitted my Maim and some other contributors. Using the same method, Frank recorded a few pieces for unreleased compilations. A third full length album was planned and tentatively called "Dinosaur"; Maim's concept was an 80 minute piece featuring two 20 minute segments of "ambient" and two 20 minute segments of "noise". After about 4 years of original sound sources submitted by Maim, Frank Zen concluded the concept by transforming and assembling noises and sounds from Patterson (and Frank's own "libraries") into a 76+ minute opus, re-named "Dinosaur Noisers", also re-baptizing the band's name, signifying both the change in musical direction and the end of the project itself. Frank intends to "clean up" his computers of remaining sound donations from Main Patterson and assemble a final album, closing thus the chapter on this band.
