Les Virtuoses Roumains

Also called in English: The Romanian Virtuosos, or in German: Rumänische Virtuosen. A one-off project by Marcel Cellier featuring 22 virtuoso Romanian folk musicians, directed/conducted by Florian Economu. It was recorded live in one unique concert at the Victoria Hall of Geneva in 1975 by Marcel Cellier. The name 'Les Virtuoses Roumains' was first used on Les Virtuoses Roumains - Volume 1 in 1972, a collection of recordings by individual artists (not as a group), also made by by Marcel Cellier.
