"Les" played with "Bill Airey-Smith's Spider's Web Orchestra" (1935), "Picadilly Hotel Orchestra" (1935), Sydney Kyte (1936-'37), Orde Hamilton, Eddie Carroll (late 1937), Lou Preager, Jack Harris and Jack Hylton (before World War II), George Evans, Henry Hall and Ted Heath (1945-1960s).
