Lev Volodin (1930–2008) was a Soviet/Russian trumpeter and music educator. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1965 and had been performing as a soloist in leading symphonic orchestras throughout his career: State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the USSR (1957–71), Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra (1971–76), and Moscow Symphony Orchestra (1976–78). In 1976, Volodin returned to the State Academic Symphony Orchestra.
