Mysterious, elusive Canadian singer-songwriter, born 1954. His first known recording, L'Amour, acquired a cult status as a sort of private press/vanity record holy grail and was reissued by Light In The Attic in spring 2014. A few weeks afterwards, a second album, Romantic Times, this time credited to Lewis Baloue, surfaced on eBay, only to see Light In The Attic announcing a reissue within a week. The eBay auction ended with a $1,825 price-tag, while many message boards and music forums continue speculating on the whereabouts of the white-clad, cigarillo-smoking playboy-type synth-auteur. LITA put an end to the mystery on the 8th of August 2014 revealing they have met with him and that Lewis is alive and well, still playing music though not interested with his new-found fame.
