Band,
Musician of Rock
Formed in the mid 90's, LIGHT BRIGHT HIGHWAY were an experimental guitar/bass/drum trio from St. Petersburg, Florida. The band played very long, streched out, effects laden, hypnotic instrumental compositions with lots of room for psychedelic improvisations. As the band's leader, guitarist Robbie Dwyre Jr. said, they didn't like to follow the beaten path, liked to let music breathe, build and grow, and enjoyed the creation of new sounds. The arrangements also featured guest appearances of cello, flute, trumpet, synth-keys, violin, sax, xylophone, etc. LBH's approach to music and sound creation was cosmically alien and definitely unique.
