A.k.a. Ernst-Johann Reinhardt
German actor and well-known drag queen that was born in Celle, Germany on Sep.22, 1955. The actor "Ernie" Reinhardt had his breakthru in 1988 when creating his drag queen personality "Lilo Wanders" who was one of the stars at the "Schmidt Theater" on Hamburgs' famous Reeperbahn. He in fact was even a founder of the theater which reached cult status on German TV between 1990 and 1993 with their own weekly live show. In 1994 he (as "Lilo Wanders") became the host and follow-up of Matthias Frings in the weekly TV show called "Wa(h)re Liebe" which was an informational program and which was focussed on sexuality. His appearance as Lilo Wanders in Wa(h)re Liebe ended in the year 2000. Besides several appearance in movies (such as "Die Ratte" in which he appeared next to Thomas Kretschmann and Rocko Scharmoni) he also recorded a Schlager called "Gern Hätt' Ich Den Mann Geküsst" of which the house remixes became a Reeperbahn club hit in 1996. He is also the German dubbing voice of Dame Edna.
